  15. In this role, you will develop and deliver advanced information-based 
  16. applications for products and processes.  Emphasis in on process 
  17. automation, automated decision support, and creation of new product 
  18. opportunities driven by business vision, objectives or needs.  
  19. Responsibilities will include analysis of business objectives to define 
  20. problems and establish technical goals, marketing and proposal 
  21. development to obtain project approval and funding, definition of design 
  22. approach, implementation, and transition to the customer.

  24. The qualified candidate should have demonstrated experience in developing 
  25. and delivering software systems, software engineering process 
  26. methodologies, technical leadership, and project management.  This 
  27. individual should also be highly motivated, goal driven, capable of 
  28. effectively interacting with customers, and work well both independently 
  29. and as a team member.

  31. This position requires an MS in Computer Science (or equivalent) and a 
  32. minimum of five years experience in leading the development of software 
  33. systems.  Your background should include computer science, software 
  34. engineering, and project management.  Using your strong interpersonal, 
  35. communication, and organizational skills, you will learn quickly and work 
  36. on a broad scope of applications.

  38. The following qualifications are desirable:  Object-oriented analysis and 
  39. design training or experience, C and C++ programming, UNIX/Xwindows/Motif 
  40. and MS Windows experience, and AI or advanced reasoning technology 
  41. experience.
